Mladinski center Gornja Radgona
Mladinski center Gornja Radgona (The Youth Center Gornja Radgona) serves as a logistical and functional hub for young people in the fields of development, information, education and social affairs, cultural activities, entertainment, and social inclusion of young people and those young at heart. We provide counseling on mobility opportunities, non-formal education, youth work training, assistance in applying for youth grants, planning youth projects, support in planning and organizing youth events, assistance in establishing and managing youth clubs and associations, volunteer opportunities within the youth center (promotion, events), and the dissemination of information from the municipality and other local institutions on matters affecting young people in the local community.
The youth center is legally and formally organized, defined, and supported by appropriate legislation, and is long-term integrated into the environment. Young people and society increasingly recognize it as a connecting element between various fields of youth work and youth organizations that involve young people. The youth center serves as a foundation for meeting and socializing among young people.
The youth center is primarily intended for:
- Adolescents aged 13 to 30,
- Individuals from the preschool and elementary school population,
- Formal groups of young people or youth involved in various associations or federations of associations,
- Informal groups of young people over 19 years of age (groups without legal formal status),
- Students and other older youth active in various organizations and clubs.
The general objectives of youth centers are to promote youth participation, enable active citizenship, advocate for multicultural education, ensure social inclusion, and above all, integrate young people through better awareness of their status and role in society. The primary goal of the youth center is to assist and support children and adolescents during their growth and development, especially when they are not at home or in school. We aim to provide them with quality leisure time activities.
The Youth Center Gornja Radgona participates in several national and international programs, primarily intended for youth organizations and informal youth groups.

Volunteers participate in:
- Workshops,

- Sports events.
Volunteers represent the interests of individuals and various youth groups they come from and act as a key support pillar of the youth center. Through their active role, they contribute to most organized events and activities. Volunteering is of strategic importance for personal development and the future of society, as it promotes the advancement of systems, values, solidarity, and social development, which requires appropriate recognition and encouragement.
