Negova Lake

Southeast of Negova, on an area of 11.3 hectares, lies the artificial Negova Lake. The lake was created by merging three castle ponds. In 1967, it was designated a protected landscape park, where rare species such as the water chestnut (Trapa natans) and the white water lily (Nymphaea alba) find their habitat. The lake was once a popular spot for swimmers, anglers, and campers.
