Traditional Leopold Fair

The Leopold Fair is a traditional event in Gornja Radgona, celebrated on St. Leopold’s Day, i.e., on November 15th, and it has a venerable history. This traditional fair has been taking place since 1700, initially covering the entire area of Radgona – on both banks of the Mura River; in Gornja Radgona and in Austrian Radgona (Bad Radkersburg).

Each year, the fair attracts participants from near and far, with a focus on showcasing traditional local crafts, Prlekija cuisine, various artisans, entrepreneurs, and their products.
