Adventurous rafting trip on the Mura River
Offer for Groups: ADVENTURE RIVER DESCENT on the Route: Gornja Radgona – Veržej (Babič Mill) / 5-6 hours
For all groups, unions, and other various groups who want to experience an unforgettable adventure on the Mura River. With the current of the rushing river, you will overcome smaller rapids, paddle through river waves, and admire nature. You will meet people who live with the river and still preserve traditional crafts like the “Babič Mill” today. Bring plenty of good spirits and a change of clothes; we will take care of everything else.
Program: ADVENTURE RIVER DESCENT on the Route Gornja Radgona – Veržej (Babič Mill) / 5-6 hours
Meeting in Gornja Radgona at the bridge over the Mura on the Slovenian side with the raft guide(s), who will introduce you to the basics of paddling techniques, explain all the rules for a safe descent, and answer your questions. Welcome drink and greetings for the participants.
Before entering the river, you will receive all the necessary equipment, a life jacket, and a paddle.
Enjoy a scenic boat ride with stops at the ferry in Krog and other hidden spots along the Mura River. For a touch of adventure, group crews will compete in paddling skills until reaching your final destination, the “Babič Mill,” where you will end the journey by visiting the only real floating and working mill on the Mura River and chatting with the miller about the Mura’s mists…
Price is negotiable. The price for organized groups of more than 20 people is negotiable, with possible discounts. The price includes the organization and execution of the descent, transport of necessary equipment and guides to the start, and transport from the destination, as well as navigation in certified rafts under the supervision of licensed raft guides, use of safety equipment (life jacket) and paddles, and animation during the descent.
The price does NOT include transportation of guests/tourists from the destination back to the start.
You will be guided down the Mura by a properly trained raft guide with a Wild Water Rescue “C” license.
The minimum number of participants is 6 people.
