Mladinski svet Gornja Radgona
Mladinski svet Gornja Radgona – MSGR (The Youth Council Gornja Radgona) is the umbrella youth organization in the municipality of Gornja Radgona, connecting young people from Gornja Radgona. MSGR was established at the end of October 2010, as a result of the expressed interest in better cooperation and the unification of youth in the municipality.
The main goal of MSGR is to promote the active inclusion of young people in social life, improve their position, and create conditions for their personal and social development.
The Youth Council consists of the following youth organizations:
- Student-Youth Club Klinka
- Association of Slovenian Catholic Scouts – Scouts Stega Gornja Radgona 1
- Youth Association Vitez Negova
MSGR operates in various fields, such as education, volunteering, solidarity, and environmental protection. The Youth Council is responsible for organizing various events, workshops, debates, and projects that allow young people to acquire new knowledge, experiences, and skills.
MSGR encourages young people to:
- Autonomy – to be capable of independent decision-making, managing, and handling their lives.
- Solidarity – to actively care for others.
- Responsibility – to be capable of taking responsibility for the consequences of their decisions.
- Engagement – to strive to live according to their values and to support ideals, both as individuals and as members of society.
Furthermore, MSGR acts as an intermediary between young people and local authorities and represents them in decision-making processes that affect their living conditions. This creates space for dialogue and cooperation, amplifying the voice of youth in the community.
Thus, the Youth Council Gornja Radgona significantly contributes to shaping a positive and inclusive community, where young people are not just passive observers but active co-creators of the future.
